We have listened to patient feedback and introduced Anima – a new way to contact the Practice online. We are excited about this change and the benefits it will bring to our patients. This will be rolled out from the 1st of April 2025
We have reviewed various online consultation systems and talked to other practices. We believe Anima is the most suitable solution for our patients and staff. Anima is approved by the NHS and fully accredited to provide services to primary care practices.
GP practices are experiencing significant strain with declining GP numbers and increasing demand. Ensuring that patients are seen by the appropriate clinician in the right place and the right time means that patient care and experience is improved, and it reduces pressure on GP practices, allowing GPs to spend their time where it is needed the most. This approach is supported by NHS England who have advised that GP surgeries consider this approach in future.
