NHS 111

The Out of Hours service is provided by NHS 111 following a government re-organisation of GP out of hours cover. NHS 111 operates from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. Monday to Friday and all day at weekends and on bank holidays.  The out of hours duty nurse or doctor may offer advice over the phone, ask you to visit the base at the QEQM Hospital in Margate, or in exceptional circumstances, visit you at home.  They can also give you advice as to where to seek the most appropriate treatment/care for your problem, such as Pharmacy, Dentist, GP, Minor Injuries or hospital.
